What do you think should not be in OTP?

I don’t share the sentiment of most people here. I guess most people here want OTP to be more like Linux, a bare kernel, whereas I’d prefer something like a BSD, a full-fledged OS.

I think there is some merit in this idea - and along the same line of thought perhaps we could have OTP as well as OTPF, which would be a framework that contains many of the things needed to easily create applications in an idiomatic Erlang way. It could be the missing gateway that Erlang is, imo, in desperate need of: What is Erlang's gateway application?
