For work, I am a software engineer. I’ve spent the past 3 decades working mostly with Java and Python. I’ve always wanted to use Erlang at work. I’m thinking of focusing on Gleam, Erlang, and Rust for my future coding adventures.

For fun I have enjoyed skate boarding, wind surfing, surfing, para-gliding, cycle-touring, sea kayaking, and tango dancing. These days, I mostly practice yoga. Sometimes I take care of bees. Right now (Dec 2024) I’m preparing to hike the Pacific Crest Trail starting in March 2025.
