Hello, community.
SpawnFest 2023 will happen on Oct 28 & 29.
What is it?
SpawnFest is an annual 48 hour online software development contest in which teams from around the world get exactly one weekend to create the best BEAM-based applications they can. Participation in SpawnFest is 100% free of charge, and there’s prizes to be won (just check out what we gave away last year).
The competition
At https://spawnfest.org/ you can get a bit more information about the competition (including the rules, judge panel, sponsors and prizes - we’ll keep adding these) as well as register for participation.
Join us
If you’re interested in following event updates, our main communication hub is the #spawnfest channel in the EEF Slack.
Hope to see you there.
Note: this year we’ll be using the EEF’s Slack for “during event” communication, so we suggest your team “driver” (at least) to join it. To do that, head over to https://erlef.org, create a new account (basic membership is free), and then request an invite to join Slack. Once in Slack you can contact starbelly
or Paulo F. Oliveira
and they’ll add you to the correct channel (it’s private for participants).
