Erlang Dev - YouTube Channel

In the past few years, a number of tools for the Erlang programming language started to pop up, from the ELP language server to the eqWAlizer type checker, passing through the EDB debugger.

Even if the community is small, many Erlang developers haven’t used these tools, and it may be unclear what they have to offer.

The Erlang Dev channel is focused on providing in-depth demos of essential Erlang tools, expert tips on IDEs, language servers, type checkers, formatters, and more, as well as technical deep dives into the inner workings of the Erlang ecosystem.

Useful channel and great first video!

One idea: maybe use a larger font or smaller screen (it’s not easy to read the characters when watching the video on a 14 inch screen).

Great feedback! Yes, I will definitely take that into account for the next one!

Very nice initiative!
Have you consider to bring in contributions from others?
Could be nice with a focal point (channel) for all kind of Erlang tools.
Just a thought.

Cheers, T.

Absolutely! The channel is brand new, so we’ll see where we’ll end up. But having other presenters contributing is definitely under the radar. If you have any specific topic, tool or presenter in mind let me know!

I’m just throwing out ideas here…
An alternative to a one-man presenter could be to collaborate, for example, the
”tool-expert” walks you trough the usage of the tool. Could be fun to watch.
(if it would be of interest I could go through Lux testing and/or the edbg trace tool…when time permits)

Cheers, T.
