Are you happy with your OS? Thinking about changing? Any software (apart from code editors) you’d like to recommend that could make development easier?
Windows with WSL.

MX-Linux - debian fork without that abomination called systemd. Quite happy with it. Generally code using Sublime but I don’t use a lot of IDE features and occasionally use Joe for quick file checks/updates and Geany when I want to print out source code as I am apt to do.

Same non-systemd concept, but with Gentoo

I am a happy user of devbox since a year now.
Changed a lot for me.
Easy to pick up if you don’t want (or have the time) to invest in learning nix.
